Use cases

The project aims to demonstrate performance based on four use cases: dashboard management, emergency room assistance, primary care efficiency, and surveillance of new chronic diseases in public health.

Care management

Design a multidimensional dashboard to support healthcare management and decision-making in care pathways. Use automated processes to visualise key indicators and analyse data extracted from different sources within the Valencian healthcare system. This will improve quality, efficiency, and health outcomes.

Efficiency

The monitoring and evaluation of primary care services aims to analyse the efficiency of health centres, optimise service provision geared towards health outcomes, and improve citizens’ perception of quality.

Assistance

Development of a predictive model to analyse the functioning of the Department Hospital’s Emergency Department, as well as to anticipate the arrival of patients, in order to improve the planning of the different medical specialities, healthcare personnel and hospital infrastructure.

Public Health

Improving the efficiency of public health surveillance systems in the event of possible cases of chronic non-communicable diseases that are not usually included in reporting systems. We have focused on diabetes, but this could also be done for chronic conditions such as dyslipidaemia, high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease or other conditions.
